Bob Moran
Deputy Director, Decarbonisation Strategy, DfT
A 19-year veteran of the DfT, Bob is a professional engineer with 20 years’ experience of evidence-based policy development and delivery in the public and private sectors. He has been Deputy Director of the Decarbonisation Strategy since 2021. Among the DfT’s decarbonisation projects are the Decarbonising Local Roads competition, which has awarded £30 million of government funding to seven innovative, UK net zero projects, as well as a £7 million tech fund to decarbonise freight and boost innovation.
