Edward is dedicated to decarbonising Westminster City Council's waste and street cleansing fleet. In partnership with Veolia, the council is testing modern technologies, such as hydrogen powered trucks and upcycling end of life old diesel large trucks to fully electric and alternative fuels, such as HVO and CNG. As such, Westminster City Council's waste fleet won GreenFleet's Public Sector Commercial Fleet of the Year award in 2021, in the small to medium category.
